I am responsible for all housekeeping activities, including:

• Recruitment and training.
• Ordering cleaning products and various room supplies.
• Inspecting rooms before guests check in.
• Organising deep cleaning and extra cleaning activities.
• Maintaining the cleaning standards of the hotel.
• Following up on maintenance works and repairs.
• Preparing the monthly shift plan for my team
• Attending to guests’ complaints.
• Sometimes I clean rooms with my team to ensure that they follow proper cleaning procedures and safety precautions, as well as maintain the hotel’s overall cleaning standard.
• Provide support to my team and other work colleagues.
• Solving housekeeping problems as they arise.

I worked in this position from 2016 to 2020 when the hotel closed due to COVID, then I was recalled in October 2021 when it was reopened.

I taught both basic and advanced-level classes in English language skills and literature.
