Lead a small group that manages weather data, takes care of quality control, automated processing and climatological statistics.


Design and manage continuous workflow for weather and climate data.


Expert advice on and analysis of climate reanalysis data (esp. ERA5, and CARRA) and on climate model data (esp. CMIP6).


Provide estimates of climate change impacts based on CMIP6 data. Provide analysis of sea level data and statistical analysis of Delt3D-FM model results.


Chair the Climate Impact Assessment Committee for Iceland, perform climatological analysis of observations and model projections and oversee the publication of impact assessment report.


Participate in the Icelandic Climate Council and the Climate Services and Adaptation Center at the Icelandic Meteorological Office.
