Guðrún Emilía Halldórudóttir

Worked as a supervising manager in the packing department in a small family run business. We produced salts, jams, teas and syrups mostly aimed and the tourist industry.

My responsibilities included weekly planning, project preparation, recording production in the internal system, packaging and other related tasks.

The job was varied and enjoyable with great coworkers.

Worked in the reception greeting guests and checking them in. Helped customers with any inquires they had and provided information about the local area or other places around Iceland they were traveling to.

Worked as a secretary/personal assistant to an Icelandic business owner in Japan.

The work was varied as I handled travel planning, translating business documents, along organizing daily life and personal matters.

Worked as a room cleaner.

Worked as a sales person in the regular Duty Free at the international airport, alongside their fashion store. Also worked at the cash register.

Worked varied jobs during summer breaks, such as room cleaning, breakfast room manager/server, laundry room manager, room cleaning manager and as a restaurant server.
