  • Planning & conduction of Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine Introduction Campaign in Punjab in close collaboration with development partners (UNICEF, WHO, BMGF) and line departments (Education, Local Government and rural development & Director General Public Relations.)
  • Introduction of Hepatitis B Birth Dose in Punjab as Punjab Government Initiative.
  • Achieved all DLIs for Punjab (the only province to achieve this target of NISP Project funded by World Bank).
  • Shifted the EPI Program to regular mode with DDO Powers to Director EPI for the first time in Punjab.
  • Improved EPI Coverage from 78% to 88.9% in 15 Months as per survey of TPVICS.
  • Established coordination with IRMNCH& Nutrition program to ensure Ante-natal, intra-natal and post- natal care of the mother and the infant.
  • Got created 2000 posts of vaccinators and trained the required number of vaccinators to be placed against the newly created posts in all districts of Punjab.
  • Similarly. added cold chain to the system under CCEOP and established 615 new EPI Centers along with refurbishment of the existing ones in need of repair.
  • All these efforts strengthened the immunization system to accommodate any additional vaccine in future like HPV.
  • Provided technical input to the districts for the planning, design, and execution of activities related to TCV & Hepatitis-B Birth dose introduction.
  • Developed and implemented comprehensive communication plan for awareness of the target population, involvement of the influentials for support and advocacy for the stakeholders to get maximum political support.
  • Convened steering committee meetings quarterly for technical guidance regarding routine and campaign activities.
  • Implemented the outlined comprehensive training plan for TCV & Hepatitis-B birth dose introduction campaigns in Punjab.
